May I book a library group room?
Library client bookings can only be made for groups of two or more; or for online group meetings i.e. MS Teams, Zoom, teleconference meetings. (Individual users can use the rooms casually between bookings, but prioritization is given to groups).
How far in advance can I book?
Booking sheets cover the days of the current two weeks, and a section for recording bookings that are coming up in the third week.
Bookings may be short-bookings or full-day bookings, and you can make a total of two group-room bookings per week, under your name.
For before/after business-hours bookings you will need a swipe-card to enter the library.
There are two ways to make a booking:
Option 1: Write your name + phone number and booking directly onto the booking sheets located on the group room doors. (a black white-board marker is available a reception)
Option 2: Email PAH library,,,, or Telephone your booking through to PAH library for same-day bookings.
Booking Cancellations
Group rooms are in high demand if you do not need your booking, please contact the library and cancel it.
If you are more than 15mins late for your booking, you booking may be reassigned to another library client.
What equipment and seating do the group rooms have?
The rooms comfortably seat up to six, each room has a large screen. The rooms do not have PCs, but you can bring your own laptop and connect to library WiFi.
Each room has a screen that can be connected to a laptop using a HDMI which is available at the reception desk.
What uses are unacceptable?
The group rooms cannot be used for, clinical/office work-space, social or relaxation purposes, patient or family meetings, use of large-equipment (e.g. medical simulations equipment).
What should I do If I want to book rooms for a longer or more frequent period?
